Getting there
There is a direct bus from Rome and another from Sulmona.
There is also a road south towards the National Park of Abruzzo but no bus route.

What to see, according to Wikivoyage
Get away from the main road where the bus stops and then just wander in the narrow streets.
There is a helpful regional information centre in Scanno (some English spoken) with maps and suggested walking tours of the town.
