The town
Oulx (Occitan: Ours) is a town of 3,300 people (2020) in the Piedmont region of Italy near the town of Sauze d'Oulx, a famous ski resort. Oulx sits at the confluence of the Dora di Riparia and the Dora di Bardonecchia rivers in the Susa Valley, about 76 km west of Turin.

Getting there
By bus: Sadem and O5Voyageur provide services to Oulx.
By train: From Turin: take the Torino-Bardonecchia line, alight at 1 Oulx-Cesana-Claviere-Sestriere station.
Beaulard station on the same line serves the frazione of Beaulard.
On foot: A number of trails connect Beaulard with other villages and refuges in the region.
